Every once in a while, God puts something on my heart that I can’t ignore.

Lately, it’s been this: it’s time to honor the work He’s given me, fully and faithfully.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know my photography is rooted in motherhood — from the quiet newborn snuggles to the wildflower-filled laughter of toddlers and the tender moments that remind us how fast it all goes. These sessions aren’t just photos to me; they’re living memories, pieces of family legacy that tell the story of love, growth, and grace.

And as I’ve grown — as a mom, a business owner, and a woman — I’ve realized something important: offering discounts doesn’t align with the respect I have for this work or the people I serve. So, this fall, I’m choosing to stop offering discounts. Not because I don’t care — but because I care deeply.

Every mother who steps in front of my lens deserves my very best — from the planning to the editing to the gentle way I photograph her newborn or her family. When you invest in a session with me, you’re not just buying photos. You’re investing in time, artistry, and intention.

I want every client to feel confident knowing they’re receiving the same care and value as everyone else — no shortcuts, no “sale version,” just the full, beautiful experience their story deserves.

Running a photography business is so much more than showing up with a camera. It’s hours of preparation, curation, hand-editing, learning, and creating. It’s art, heart, and faith all tangled together.

When I honor the worth of my work, I’m also honoring the sustainability of my business — so that I can keep creating for the families who trust me, year after year.

My family is at the center of it all. They are the reason I started this journey and the reason I continue to grow. By choosing to uphold my prices, I’m choosing to protect the balance our home needs — more family dinners, more slow mornings, more space for my kids to see their mom living her purpose without burnout.

I want my children to see that honoring your calling and your boundaries is a good thing.


Out of Respect for Myself

This decision also comes from self-respect. I’ve learned that it’s okay to believe your work is worthy — that it’s okay to say, “this matters.” The mothers I photograph are brave and beautiful in their own becoming. This decision is part of mine.


What’s Ahead — and an Invitation

As I look toward the end of this year, I’m craving creativity and connection — and I’d love to invite one or two moms to join me for a styled motherhood shoot on October 25.

This session will be something special: a slower, story-driven experience that celebrates the beauty of motherhood. It’s perfect for someone who loves the cottagecore, floral, light-filled aesthetic of my work and wants to help me create something meaningful.
