Hello, I’m Natalie E. Tellish, the owner and lead photographer of Roadhouse Photography, serving Moon Township, Pittsburgh, and the surrounding Western Pennsylvania area.
As a motherhood photographer, my heart is devoted to capturing the deep, transformative beauty of motherhood — from the anticipation of pregnancy, to the tenderness of the newborn days, and through the ever-evolving seasons of family life. I specialize in maternity, newborn, and motherhood photography, creating heirloom artwork that preserves these fleeting moments for generations to come.
To me, a legacy is more than beautiful images. It’s about telling your family’s story with intention and care — creating photographs that honor the woman at the center of it all. Every session is designed to be calm, meaningful, and deeply personal, resulting in timeless photographs that will be cherished long after the moment has passed.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a wife, a mom, and a lifelong learner. My husband and I are also the fifth-generation owners of a historic 1860s roadhouse, a home that has been in my family for generations. This place is the heart behind Roadhouse Photography — a symbol of family, history, and the belief that what we create today can be treasured far into the future.
It’s my mission to help mothers in the Pittsburgh and Moon Township area feel seen, valued, and remembered — not just in photographs, but in the legacy they leave behind.
From a hobby to a lifestyle.
Photography has always been a cherished part of my life — a passion that deepened with every image I created. In 2017, I began offering photography as a side business while raising two young children and working from home. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a calling.
In 2022, I took a leap of faith and officially launched Roadhouse Photography, focusing on motherhood, maternity, and newborn photography for families in the Pittsburgh area.
Investing in my craft has been truly transformative. I have trained with Flourish Academy and Beauty in Birth, working alongside and learning from respected artists in the maternity and newborn photography industry. These experiences have allowed me to refine both my technical skill and my artistic approach, creating imagery that is calm, emotional, and deeply connected.
Today, I specialize in telling meaningful stories for mothers in Moon Township, Pittsburgh, and surrounding Western Pennsylvania communities — documenting pregnancy, newborn days, and the seasons of motherhood with intention and care.

While photography is a true passion of mine, motherhood is my calling. I feel deeply blessed to nurture, love, and be needed by my children, and this lived experience shapes everything about the way I photograph families.
As a motherhood, maternity, and newborn photographer serving the Pittsburgh area, I understand the beauty and vulnerability of these seasons. I don’t see you simply as a client — I see you as a mother, partner, sibling, or grandparent, in the midst of a meaningful chapter of life.
My approach to photography is gentle, natural, and connection-focused. I document real moments — quiet touches, genuine laughter, tender newborn days, and the honest emotions of motherhood — without interrupting your family’s natural rhythm.
