It’s a strange and beautiful thing—running a business that’s so deeply connected to your heart. Roadhouse Photography was never just about photos for me. It was about telling the truth of motherhood. About honoring the chaos and sacredness of family life. About reminding women they are worthy, even when life feels like a blur of snacks, laundry, and late-night rocking chair prayers.

As I look back on the past year, I see so much growth—not just in income or bookings, but in confidence, clarity, and calling. I reached a big goal I had quietly hoped for. I worked with some incredible families. I learned what works and what I want to do differently. And most importantly, I felt God’s gentle nudge reminding me that this business is His before it’s mine.

A New Season of Stretching

Now, I’m standing in a season where I know it’s time to grow again.

Not for the sake of numbers.

Not for popularity.

But because I believe in this work.

Because I believe moms deserve to be seen and celebrated.

Because I want to serve more families with intention, beauty, and heart.

Because I want to support my own family in a way that feels aligned with my values.

Maybe that sounds too direct. But maybe that’s okay.

Because this business is personal. It’s deeply rooted in my identity as a mama, a creative, and a believer. When you book a session, refer a friend, share a post, or even whisper a prayer for me—I feel it. I notice. And I’m so grateful.
