Dear Mama,

I see you.

I see the way your hands are always full—of laundry, dishes, backpacks, snacks, tears, and tiny hands that somehow make it all worth it. I see how you give everything you’ve got—your time, your sleep, your heart—and how little of it gets noticed in the day-to-day.

But I also see something else.

I see the beauty in your quiet strength. I see the way your children look at you—like you are their home. I see the love written in the smallest moments: the way you brush hair back from a forehead, the giggle you chase, the way you kneel down to meet your child at eye level.

These are the moments that matter.

And so often, these are the moments that don’t make it into photographs. You're the one behind the camera. The one waving from the sidelines. The one making it all happen—but rarely in the frame.

This Mother’s Day, I want to remind you:

You are part of the story.

Not just the maker of memories—but the memory itself.

You deserve to be remembered not for the things you did, but for who you are. Beautiful. Tender. Present. Imperfect. Real.

So let me say this plainly:

🌸 You deserve to be in the photo.

🌸 You deserve to be celebrated.

🌸 You deserve to look back one day and see the love you gave staring back at you.

Whether it’s for Mother’s Day or the middle of a Tuesday, you are worthy of being seen and remembered. And I would be honored to capture that for you.

From one mother to another—thank you for all you do, seen and unseen. You are doing holy work.

With love and gratitude,

Natalie
