Last Thursday, I had the joy of setting up at Janoski’s Farm in Clinton, PA for my very first Market Minis, and what a success it was! Six families jumped in for on-site photo sessions, and it was such a gift to capture their memories in such a vibrant, seasonal setting. Two of those families even chose to upgrade their sessions afterward, which just showed me how much people value not just pictures, but tangible heirlooms.
Even beyond the sessions, this market day was a win. I added 12 new families to my email list, which means more moms, dads, and grandparents will now be the first to hear about special events, seasonal minis, and heirloom session openings. And maybe the biggest win of all—I secured a location for Christmas Minis that I can’t wait to share with my email subscribers very soon.
Now, I’m already looking ahead to the next Market Mini event. On September 13–14, I’ll be set up at the Beaver Valley Antique Tractor Show at the Hookstown Fairgrounds. It’s a family-friendly event that draws in the community for food, fun, and of course—lots of memories worth capturing. I’ll be offering Market Minis right on site, so families can walk away with timeless portraits while enjoying the fair.
I left Janoski’s feeling so encouraged—this new direction of connecting with families in real community spaces feels exactly right. I can’t wait to meet even more of you in September at the Hookstown Fairgrounds.
