On Wednesday, this was nothing more than a concrete foundation.
Today...
The walls are standing.
The roof trusses are in place.
The plywood is on.
The house wrap is up.
The roof is papered.
It's amazing what can happen in just a few days.
What makes this even more meaningful is that we're not just watching it happen.
We're building it.
My husband has poured his heart into every stage of this project, and whenever I can, I'm right there beside him. This weekend that meant carrying roof trusses, hauling materials, cleaning up, and doing whatever needed to be done.
This studio isn't just another building.
It's a promise.
A promise that Roadhouse Photography is here for the long haul.
A promise that mothers and families will have a place created just for them.
A promise that the memories we preserve deserve a home built with the same care and intention that goes into every photograph.
One day you'll walk through these doors for your maternity session, your newborn session, or your family portraits.
I hope you'll know this place wasn't just built with lumber.
It was built with faith, sacrifice, late nights, sore muscles, and a dream we refused to give up on.
We can't wait to welcome you home. 🤍
