This weekend I had one of those conversations that made me stop in my tracks.

I was telling my mom how excited I was that two women had already joined Founding Mothers.

She smiled and said,

"Yeah... what is that, anyway? I haven't read it yet."

At first, I almost laughed.

Not because it was funny—but because it was such a good reminder.

My mom is one of my biggest supporters. She cheers me on through every idea, every dream, every crazy plan. If anyone was going to know exactly what Founding Mothers was, I assumed it would be her.

But she hadn't even read it yet.

And that's when it hit me.

I've been thinking about Founding Mothers every single day for months.

I've designed it.

Changed it.

Second-guessed it.

Dreamed about it.

Worried about it.

Talked about it with my husband.

Built emails.

Created graphics.

Planned the studio around it.

It's been living rent-free in my head for so long that I forgot something really important.

No one else has been living with it.

To me, it feels like old news because I've carried it for months.

To everyone else, it's simply Monday.

They aren't refreshing my website.

They aren't checking my Facebook every morning.

They aren't replaying my Instagram stories.

They're raising babies.

Working jobs.

Making dinner.

Trying to remember if they switched the laundry.

My business is my everyday.

It isn't theirs.

That realization didn't discourage me.

It actually gave me peace.

Sometimes, as business owners, we feel like we're repeating ourselves too much.

We hesitate to post again because we think everyone has already seen it.

We assume people know what we're offering because we've talked about it for weeks.

The truth?

Most people probably missed it.

Or saw it while standing in line at the grocery store and forgot about it thirty seconds later.

That's not because they don't care.

It's because they have their own lives.

And honestly... they should.

It reminded me that good marketing isn't saying something once.

It's patiently inviting people into the story over and over again.

So if you've seen me mention Founding Mothers a few times...

Thank you for sticking with me.

And if you're just now hearing about it?

Welcome.

You're right on time.

Because while I've been building a studio, I've also been building something I hope becomes much bigger than a membership.

I'm building a community of women who believe motherhood deserves to be preserved—not just in digital files, but as artwork that becomes part of a family's story for generations.

Sometimes we need the people who love us most to remind us of something simple:

The world doesn't wake up thinking about our business.

We do.

And that's okay.

Our job isn't to expect everyone to keep up.

Our job is simply to keep showing up.
