Over the weekend, my husband looked at one of the family portraits hanging in our home and casually said,
"Maybe we should take that one down and replace it with a new family picture."
My answer came so quickly I almost interrupted him.
"No."
Not because I don't want a new portrait.
I absolutely do.
But I never want the new one to replace the old one.
