Something very exciting is happening at Roadhouse Photography.


The studio is being shingled.


The walls are up. The trusses are on. The building is wrapped, and now the roof is going on. Little by little, the dream I have been carrying for years is becoming a real place.

And I cannot wait to invite you inside.


But here's the thing:

I don't want to wait for the studio to be finished to photograph your family.

There are so many beautiful seasons happening right now.

Babies are growing.

Toddlers are changing by the week.

Your children are losing teeth, starting preschool, learning to ride bikes, climbing into your lap even though they are getting much too big for it.

And you are right in the middle of it.

That is worth photographing.


Before the Studio, There Is Right Now

I have a handful of session dates available before the studio opens, and I would love to fill them with families who want to remember this particular season of their lives.


My current availability is:

August 22

September 5

September 19

October 3

October 10

October 17


These don't have to be maternity sessions.

They don't have to be for a baby's first birthday.

They don't even have to be for a special occasion.

You can simply be in the season you're in.

Because someday, your toddler won't reach for your hand quite so often.

Someday, your baby won't fit against your chest the way they do now.

Someday, you will look back at these photographs and realize just how much life was happening in these ordinary days.

That's what I want to preserve.


And Then There Is Fall...

I have also been thinking about seasonal minis.

But before I put anything on the calendar, I want to know what you actually want.

Would you rather have:

🍂 Fall Minis

Warm, cozy, beautiful autumn portraits.

🎄 Early Christmas Minis

Christmas magic in October, while the weather is still a little more forgiving.

🎄 November Christmas Minis

Traditional Christmas portraits closer to the holiday season.

I have some ideas of my own, but I would much rather create something families actually want.
